Luann Budd- Grew up in Seattle, Washington.
Attended the University of Was hington
and Long Beach State, majored in English. Worked with the South Basin
Writing Project, a California Subject Matter Project, where
exemplary teachers teach their peers best classroom practices. Taught
Freshman Composition at both Long Beach State and San Jose State
Universities. Currently working full-time as the Administrative
Officer, San Jose State University library.

 | Luann's Ministry
Experience - I've served as a pastor's wife since 1983. I love
youth ministry and have taught Sunday School, led jr. and sr. high
school ministries, and AWANA (which I did for nearly 20 years). I'm also
serve as Chair of the Board of the Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry (NEWIM),
a non-profit organization committed to strengthening, encouraging and
equipping women in ministry. I currently co-lead a retreat for women called
The Springs. My

| Kevin's Ministry - My husband, Kevin, attended Dallas
Theological Seminary from 1978-1983. He pastored Redeemer Covenant
Church in Downey, California for 15 years. In 1998, we moved to San
Jose, CA, where he is currently the pastor of
New Life Covenant Church. |
| Work - I
am the Administrative Officer of the University Library at San Jose
State. We have moved into our new $174
million library, operated jointly by the City and the University, to
meet the life-long learning needs of the community. This library
won the Library of the Year Award in 2004 and is the first of its kind in the world.

| Family -
I have 5 children , 1 grand-daughter and 3 grand-sons--Dave and Sarah
are ahead of the rest 3-1. |
